Feature
Advanced Trading Charts for Indian Markets
TradingLead provides an interactive chart workspace with candlesticks, Heikin Ashi, drawing tools and up to four split-chart panes. It supports minute-based custom intervals and daily, weekly and monthly views, subject to the selected data feed and available history.
What it does
TradingLead puts price charts, annotations and research controls in a single workspace. You can inspect a published Indian equity or index, choose an interval, change its presentation and organize several chart panes without treating each activity as a separate application.
The chart uses TradingView's charting library inside TradingLead. Data selection, account access and workspace features remain TradingLead features. The familiar appearance does not mean your TradingView subscription, saved layouts or account history transfer automatically.
Key capabilities
- Choose candles, bars, line, area, Heikin Ashi or hollow candles.
- Use additional views including baseline, high-low, columns, stepline, line with markers, HLC area and line break.
- Adjust normal, logarithmic or percentage price scales and autoscale.
- Change chart timezone using the available timezone list.
- Draw levels, trend lines, rectangles and other annotations.
- Work with one, two or four visible chart panes.
- Add native Compare or Overlay series through the A+B control.
These are presentation capabilities, not promises that every instrument has every interval or a continuous live stream. The selected feed supplies the underlying candles.
How timeframes work
The main chart offers 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 120, 180 and 240-minute presets, plus daily, weekly and monthly views. The custom interval form accepts whole-minute values from 1 through 1440, with minutes or hours as its input unit.
Custom intervals can be assembled from compatible lower-interval candles. Weekly and monthly broker views can be rolled up from daily history. Aggregation cannot create missing source bars, extend a broker's retention or turn a historical connection into a live one. The final candle of a market session may be shorter than the selected interval.
See timeframes for the distinction between candle interval and visible date range.
How to use
- Open the chart workspace and sign in when prompted.
- Select the intended instrument and confirm the chart feed.
- Choose an available timeframe and wait for candles to load.
- Choose a chart style appropriate to the question you are studying.
- Add a small number of indicators or drawings, then save the chart setup.
- Use split panes when you need separate symbols or intervals.
For example, one pane can hold an ordinary daily candlestick chart while another shows a shorter interval for the same supported equity. Link the symbol but leave intervals independent. This is a research arrangement, not a recommendation to enter a trade.
Saved setups and related tools
A saved chart layout, an indicator template and a drawing-style template serve different purposes. A chart layout saves a chart setup. An indicator template concerns native studies. A drawing template restyles a selected editable annotation. Split-workspace preferences are another layer and should not be assumed to synchronize as a single portable preset.
The sidebar Chart Grid is also different from a four-pane layout: it is a cloud-history gallery of instrument cards. Use multi-chart layouts for independently controlled panes.
Simulation visuals on the chart
When using supported simulation workflows, chart controls can show entry/exit markers, trade path lines, stops/targets, an open position and the replay cutoff. These overlays help inspect a simulated run; they are not broker-confirmed live fills or instructions to place an order.
Keep the selected run and its source context clear when reviewing a marker. See backtesting and trade review for the corresponding research workflows and limitations.
Limitations
TradingLead's five-day trial is time-limited; see pricing before assuming continuing free access. Built-in cloud candles do not carry a guaranteed real-time exchange-tick promise or a verified fixed-delay claim.
Indian options charts and second-based built-in intervals are not established by the current website connectors. A rendered chart is not evidence that the latest candle is fresh. Check the symbol, feed, interval, timestamps and any source warning before relying on the display.
FAQ
Can I draw support and resistance?
Yes. Horizontal lines, rays, rectangles and text are available for manually annotating levels and zones. See drawing tools.
Does a chart place live broker orders?
No live broker execution is established by these chart or data-feed controls. Chart studies and simulations are educational research tools, not investment advice.
Limitations
- The five-day platform trial is not a perpetual free tier.
- The built-in feed does not establish second-based or Indian options-chart availability.
- Chart readiness does not certify fresh market prices.
Frequently asked questions
- Does TradingLead support Heikin Ashi?
- Yes. Heikin Ashi is one of the supported chart views, alongside ordinary candles, bars, lines and other styles. Its transformed candles should not be treated as actual execution prices.
- Are TradingLead charts free?
- TradingLead provides a five-day product trial. Continued platform access after the trial requires an active subscription; see pricing for current terms.
- Can I use second-based charts?
- The built-in chart picker supports whole-minute intervals, not seconds. A registered provider can advertise other capabilities, but current website connectors do not establish Indian second-chart availability.
- Does using TradingView charts connect my TradingView account?
- No. TradingLead embeds a charting library in its own workspace with its own feeds and account features; that does not import a TradingView account or subscription.
