How to Install TradingLead Desktop

Install TradingLead Desktop from the official download page after checking your operating system, architecture, signing status and checksum. The reviewed catalog supports Apple Silicon Macs on macOS 12+ and Windows x64 on Windows 10+; launch, sign in and verify charts before configuring local data tools.

Before you begin

TradingLead Desktop loads the hosted TradingLead workspace and adds native features such as tabs and local provider interfaces. You still need network access for the hosted frontend and relevant account or cloud services.

If you only need supported website charts, installation is optional. Read Desktop features to check whether your intended workflow actually requires it.

1. Check the current download catalog

Open the official TradingLead download page. It presents platform-aware download choices, requirements, signing details, checksums and release notes.

The catalog reviewed on 5 November 2026 lists Mac 0.1.8 for Apple Silicon M-series computers running macOS 12 or later, and Windows 0.1.7 for Intel/AMD x64 computers running Windows 10 or later. These are a dated reference, not permanent latest-version claims.

The reviewed Mac release is signed and Apple-notarized. The Windows release is an unsigned preview. Do not infer an Intel Mac, Windows ARM or Linux build from those entries.

If the page reports that it is showing a bundled release snapshot, read the snapshot date and stale-data warning. Retry live release information before assuming it is current.

2. Verify the installer before opening it

Select the installer that matches your platform and architecture. Check the filename against the release entry, and compare the file's SHA-256 with the checksum shown on the official page using your operating system's file-hash tools.

A checksum comparison can detect a mismatched download. It does not turn an unsigned installer into a signed one or remove the need to trust the download source.

Do not disable operating-system security checks for an unexpected file or warning. If the file, publisher information or signing status differs from the release information, stop and resolve the mismatch rather than forcing installation.

3. Install on Mac

For the supported Apple Silicon Mac release:

  1. Download the official DMG.
  2. Open it in Finder.
  3. Drag TradingLead into the Applications folder.
  4. Eject the disk image.
  5. Open TradingLead from Applications.

macOS may ask you to confirm a first launch. The reviewed release is signed and Apple-notarized, but that is not permission to bypass an unexpected security alert or run a differently sourced file.

Keeping the app in Applications also avoids treating a mounted installer image as the installed app.

4. Install on Windows

For the supported Windows x64 release:

  1. Download the official setup installer.
  2. Compare its filename and checksum with the release entry.
  3. Open the verified setup file and follow the installation prompts.
  4. Review the destination offered by setup.
  5. Launch TradingLead from Start after installation.

The reviewed build is unsigned. No code-signing or verified-publisher claim is made for it. If Windows blocks it or presents an unexpected warning, do not disable security protections to continue. Confirm the release and your device's policy before proceeding.

5. Sign in and verify the workspace

Use your TradingLead account and complete any required profile information. Installation does not establish a new free-access window: the product trial lasts five days from the account's product join date.

Open charts and select a supported instrument. Verify the symbol, feed, timeframe and loaded candles. A native window opening successfully proves only that the app launched; it does not prove account access or market-data readiness.

Use getting started for the first chart setup. Check pricing if platform access requires attention.

6. Configure local tools separately

Set up only the tools your workflow needs. Direct broker connections and an optional local data service are separate paths. A local service is not required merely because a direct broker option exists.

Desktop provider sessions are distinct from website connections. Recheck the intended source and run a candle test after configuring it. The Kite session connector is experimental, not a release-certified official Kite Connect integration.

Compatible Python indicators can also run in the browser; Desktop is relevant when the workflow requires native dependencies or supported SDK execution. See Python indicators.

Updates and limitations

Packaged installations can use the app's update controls. Follow official release notes and save important work before an update or restart. Native features can differ by installed version, even when both installations load the same website.

Desktop is not a fully offline terminal and does not add live broker order execution. Provider terms, quotas and entitlements still apply. Local access cannot supply missing exchange rights or guarantee fresh prices.

FAQ

Why is an older installation missing a tool?

The tool may depend on a newer native interface, a ready hosted workspace or additional permissions. Check the specific feature message and release notes before reinstalling.

Can I use my website broker connection automatically?

Do not assume so. Website and Desktop-local connections are separate. Verify which feed the chart uses and test that path explicitly.

Steps

  1. Open the official download page and check the current catalog.
  2. Match the installer to your OS and architecture.
  3. Review signing status and compare SHA-256.
  4. On Mac, open the DMG and drag TradingLead to Applications; on Windows, run the verified setup installer.
  5. Launch, sign in and verify a supported chart.
  6. Set up and test only the local tools your workflow requires.

Limitations

  • The reviewed Mac build is Apple Silicon, not an Intel Mac installer.
  • The reviewed Windows build is unsigned; do not disable OS security protections.
  • Desktop is not fully offline and account trial rules still apply.

Frequently asked questions

Where should I download TradingLead Desktop?
Use tradinglead.in/download. Review its current platform catalog, filename, minimum OS, signing status and SHA-256 rather than downloading a similarly named installer from an unrelated site.
What do I do with the Mac DMG?
Open the disk image, drag TradingLead into Applications, eject the disk image and launch TradingLead from Applications. Stop if the file or security message differs unexpectedly from the official release information.
Is the Windows installer signed?
The reviewed Windows release is marked unsigned. Verify the official file and checksum; do not disable Windows security checks or assume a verified publisher signature exists.
Does installation reset the trial?
No new trial is established by installation. TradingLead's five-day product trial is anchored to the account's product join date.
